Charles LindsayBorn in Plainfield New Jersey in 1941. Raised in the small town of Fanwood, N.J. until going off to college in 1960.

Awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1964.

Majored in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Psychology. 

Post graduate work at Michigan State University.  Awarded a Master of Arts degree in 1966 with a major in Audiology and a minor in Education.

Pre-doctoral studies at Temple University in Philadelphia.

First position in the field of Audiology was at Pennhurst State School and Hospital in Spring City, PA.   A new department of Audiology was established offering complete hearing service to the mentally challenged population of the institution. 

Second professional position was as an Audiologist at the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  Also had a staff position at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and the Cleveland Society for the blind.

Third position was to enter private practice with three prominent Otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat doctors) in Philadelphia: Bernard J, Ronis, M.D., Max Lee Ronis, M.D. and Emil P. Liebman, M.D.

In 1974, established my own practice in Pottstown, PA with a branch office opening a short time later in Downingtown.  The main objective has been to provide an independent facility offering total professional care in hearing evaluation services, hearing aid fittings, and follow-up hearing aid care.  Before establishing my practice only hearing aid dealers sold hearing aids. Presently the main office is in Exton with a branch office in Pottstown.

Currently  am the Audiological consultant to many local nursing homes and one hospital.  Provides industrial hearing conversation programs to many industries such as ICI, Lukens Steel, Sun Pipe Line, and several other companies where noise protection is imperative.

The father of three grown children, a son, Casey, who is a senior in college; a daughter, Johanna, who is married, lives in Colorado, and also attends college; and a daughter, Amy, who is married with a 2 1/2 year old daughter and lives in York, PA.

 When not in the office, we go sailing in a small sailboat at Marsh Creek State Park.  Also take day trips to the shore to sail the bays but the favorite place is the Chesapeake Bay.    Also skiing is something that whole family does in the winter.

 In January, 1998 my wife, Susan, joined the practice as the office manager/ receptionist.  Finally after over 25 years in practice the offices have become organized!!
